About Timber Bay and the Inn Keepers
We, Don and Sharron Cotogno, come from the Snowiest Large City in the United States, Syracuse, New York.

In our retirement years we decided to move to the Tropics - Homer, Alaska (The Banana Belt)!

It has been, for many years, our desire to live in Alaska and operate a Bed and Breakfast. This whole endeavor
has been in the making since 1994, and it finally come to fruition in 2004. For a complete chronicle of the
project, as well as some other interesting tidbits, follow this link (
http://oldsite.timber-bay.com/index.html) to our
original Web Site. If you have the time, it is interesting and rich in pictures.

A little about us and Timber Bay B&B: Sharron is a retired 5th Grade Teacher; she taught for 32 years.  Don is a
retired Computer Applications Engineer. His avocation has always been cooking and socializing. Sharron loves a
clean house, so what better business to be in? We do have 2 Dogs. Sharron and Don both speak with New York
accents, but for the dogs, a bark is a bark, is a bark.

Timber Bay B&B is a Post and Beam constructed home.  It was built in the Summer of 2004. We are located 14.5
Miles East of Homer Alaska on East End Road. We have a perfect setting. We have a magnificent view of the
Head of Bay and the Mountains (as you travel east from Homer you will notice the Mountains come closer). We
are surrounded by a meadow, and wildlife abounds. We are open Year Round and can assist you making
Fishing, Kayaking, Hiking, Dining, and Sightseeing arrangements.  Feel free to call us for any of your Alaska
Sightseeing questions.

Your hosts, Don and Sharron Cotogno, are eager to show you Alaskan Hospitality at it’s finest!
