Oven-Baked Dutch Apple Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Apple Pie Filling (21 oz.)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butte
  • 3 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 5 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. In a 12 inch oven proof skillet warm the Apple Pie Filling, Butter, and Cinnamon.
3. In a bowl beat the Eggs until frothy. Add the Milk, Flour, Baking Powder, Sour Cream, Lemon Zest, and Salt. Beat until batter is smootrh.
4. Pour the egg mixture over the hot apple mixture in the skillet.
5. Immediately place the skillet in the pre-warmed oven and bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until the pancake is puffed up and golden brown.
6. Sprinkle with Confectionery Sugar and serve warm.
