  • 1 1/2lb Shredded Chedder Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Green Pepper
  • 7 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worchestershire Sauce
  • 3 cups Whole Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Pepper to Taste
  • 1/4lb Unsalted Butter
  • 1 - 2 cup Crushed Potato Chips

Directions

1. Remove crust from the bread.
2. Place half the bread in the bottom of a buttered 9x13 casserole dish.
3. Layer the bread with the Canadian Bacon (I like to cut the Canadian Bacon into 1/2 inch strips).
4. Top the Canadian Bacon with the Onion and Pepper. Then the shredded Cheese.
5. Beat the Eggs, Milk, Powdered Mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, Salt, and Pepper until well blended.
6. Pour this mixture into the casserole, cover with plasic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.
7. This recipe can be prepared to this point and frozen.
8. The next morning preheat the oven to 350°F.
9. Melt the Butter and pour over the top of the casserole.
10. Bake for 1/2 hour, place the Potato Chips on top and bake for an additional 1/2 hour or until set.
