Baked Cream Corn

Ingredients

  • 6 Slices Bacon (Cooked to Crisp and Chppped)
  • Butter (To coat the baking dish)
  • 3 Cups Corn Kermels
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose Flour
  • 3 Cups Sharp Chedder Cheese (Shredded)
  • 2 Jalapeno (Minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Granulated Garlic
  • 2 Large Eggs (Lightly Beaten)
  • 1/4 cup Butter (Melted)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Liberally Coat your baking dish with butter.
3. Mix all ingredients, reserving 1 cup of the Cheddar Cheese
4. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes
5. Top with the reserved cheese and bake an additional 15 minutes.

Note

The quantities are for a 7x11 (2 1/2 quart) baking dish.  You can double the quantities for a 9x13 (4 quart) baking dish.  It can be prepared (through step 3) and refrigerated up to 2 days ahead of time and baked off when you are ready.
